The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is owned by the Federal Republic of Germany and works worldwide in the fields of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education- GIZ provides viable, forward-looking solutions for political, economic, ecological and social development in a globalized world. Our corporate objective is to improve people`s lives on a sustainable basis. The GIZ - Farming for Resilience (F4R) project has been commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to support the Namibian Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform (MAWLR) to strengthen the resilience of the agri-food sector in general, and the adaptation capacity to climate change among small-holder farmers in communal areas in particular.
