Description:
Expression of Interest are invited to Serve as a Directors on the Boards of GIPF Investee Companies. 1. introduction From time to time, the GIPF makes direct equity investments in various companies and private equity funds ("Investee Companies")- In most instances, such investments entitle GIPF to nominate directors to serve on their boards of directors. The GIPF therefore seeks to establish a pool of persons that possesses appropriate skills and expertise from which it can, from time to time, nominate persons to serve as board members of investee companies. 2. Qualifications Applicants must be Namibian citizens or permanent residents with appropriate leadership skills and ability to discharge fiduciary duties with due care, skill and diligence. Applicants must further have completed the following minimum qualifications: - a Master's degree; or - a Bachelor's degree combined with a certification/registration with a relevant industry board/body (such as Chartered Accountant, Legal Practitioner, Professional Engineer, Certified Internal Auditor, etc). 3. Experience Applicants must have at least ten (10) years working experience. 4. Vetting /clearance Applicants that meet the above requirements will be vetted to determine whether they are fit and proper and whether they meet the requirements of the Companies Act, 2004 (Act no. 28 of 2004).
