Description:
Tenders are invited for Revival of Sacu Video Conferencing Systems. The scope of work for this Request for Bids (RFB) shall include, but not limited to the following: (a) Assessment and Confirmation of Existing Installations (i) The successful bidder shall be responsible for undertaking own assessment to confirm the equipment that has been installed at the SACU Headquarters, as well as in the Ministries of Finance and of Trade and Industry in the five (5) SACU Member States. This assessment will enable the supplier to determine the equipment that is in place and to what extent can it be re-used in the new installation; (b) Supply, installation, configuration and integration of VC equipment (i) In relation to supply and installation, the successful bidder shall be expected to: (aa) supply, deliver, install and configure the additional equipment required to revive the VC systems in the identified installation sites indicated in Section 4 of this Request for Bids; (ab) integrate the newly supplied equipment to the existing usable equipment to re-instate the VC systems into full and proper working order; (ac) provide all supervision, labour and construction equipment necessary for the handling and delivery, including offloading of equipment to the implementation sites; (ad) supply, install and label all cabling systems required within the project-s scope of works; (ae) provide supervision, labour and equipment necessary to mount and position the equipment in the identified meeting rooms at the implementation sites; and (af) configure and program all hardware and software components that are required to revive the VC systems, including any graphical screens, hardware drivers, controls and interfaces of the systems.
