Description:
Quotation are invited for Renovation of Luna Court Block B, Flat Numbers from 1 - 5, 8 - 13 and 16 - 21 in Windhoek: Khomas Region Hacking up or hacking off and removing granolithic, screeds, plaster, tiles, etc from concrete or brickwork and preparing surfaces for new screeds, plaster, tiling, etc (elsewhere measured) 1. Ceramic floor or wall tiles 170 No Taking up and removing vinyl floor coverings, carpeting, etc from screeded surfaces to be removed 2. Vinyl tile, sheet vinyl or similar floor covering 201 m² 3. Carpet tiles or carpeting with underfelt 202 m² Taking off or hacking off and removing skirtings and making good walls where skirtings removed 4. Timber skirting 303 m Taking down and removing ceilings, etc 5. Softboard or gypsum board ceilings in isolated panels 171 m² Taking out and removing taps and mixers 6. Pillar tap, bib tap or angle valve 34 No 7. Sink or bath mixer complete 8 No Taking out and removing sanitary fittings and appliances, including taps and traps, including disconnecting piping from fittings and cutting back and sealing off all water and waste pipes as necessary 8. Stainless steel or earthernware w.c. suite, drip sink or slop hopper with cistern and flush pipe 8 No 9. Electric geyser of differing sizes from wall 8 No Taking out and removing glass from steel, timber or alumiun windows and prepare to receive new (new glass elsewhere measured) 10. Glass from steel windows, doors, sidelights and fanlights 3 m² NOTE : 1. The Contractor must provide all necessary scaffolding for any and all work required to single storey buildings and to the insides of buildings irrespective of the height of the building as no additional payment will be made in this regard. 2. Scaffolding will only be measured and paid for work to the external face of the building where the building or structure is higher than one storey and to the actual height of the scaffolding erected. 3. The Contractor must ensure the stability of the scaffolding at all times and must provide adequate safety rails, barriers and walkways for the workmen using the scaffolding.
