- Tenders are invited for Provide Ship Agency, Husbandry and Additional Services in Walvis Bay SCOPE OF WORK: The scope of the services shall without limitation include the provision of labour, supervision, management, equipment and other services necessary for the coordination and management of ship husbandry and related services. The service provider will provide inport and offport limits freight forwarding on order or as an agent acting on behalf of Debmarine Namibia as and when required. The services shall be offered in Walvis Bay and shall include (but not limited) to the following; 1. Ships husbandry in and offport limits 2. Materials Management • Warehousing Storage 3. Waste Management (removal and disposal) in compliance with Debmarine Namibia's standards and recording of such removal and disposal. General waste Galley waste Hazardous waste (including wash down and oily water) 4. Crew and Logistics Logistical arrangements of Debmarine Namibia crew members. Crew service and Visa applications. Logistical clearances for Immigration, Customs and Excise, Port Health (Pratique), Harbour or Port clearances. Coordination and liaison with relevant authorities such as with the Namibia Ports Authority (Namport), etc. In-house courier service. Transport and shipment of goods/cargo. Arrange bookings of inspection services, launches and medical services. 5. Ad Hoc services as and when required by Debmarine Namibia.
