Quotation are invited for Minor Renovation; Repair of Roof Structure at Grootfontein Government Garage, Otjozondjupa Region. 1 Demolitions and alterations Taking down and removing roofs, etc; Fibrocement or metal roof sheeting including metal or timber purlins, flashings, ridges etc. (measured on Hat to roof area slope): 270.00 M2 2 Taking down and removing ceilings. Sortboard or gypsum ceilings including cover strips and cornices: 27.00 M 3 General repairs to existing works. Repairs and sundries to existing roof coverings. (Prices must allow for the replacing of existing moling drive screws and washers or hook bolts as may be necessary. Holes and roofing screws are to be sealed with Klodek waterproofing membrane. The waterproofing membrane sealing holes and roofing screws is to be a minimum size 75x75mm. Apply one coat primer diluted with 25% water, one full undiluted primer coat, one layer of waterproofing membrane and three finishing coats all as specified and in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions) Seal all holes and roofing screws etc. in galvanised roof sheeting and leave watertight (measured on flat to affected roof area on slope): 27.00 M 4 Paintwork (on soft board etc.)-Clean down and prepare and one coal exterior quality PVA paint. On ceilings, including cornices and cover strips: 27.00 M 5 Roof sheeting in single lengths sheets: 270.00 M2 6 Soft board ceilings: 27.00 12mm Soft board ceiling board in full length sheets fixed to brandering (elsewhere measured) with and including chamfered joints between sheets. 7 Cornices 75mm Coved fibre cement cornice planted on 21.00 M2 8 Structural steel work Purlins. Girts, Bracing, etc. Purlins and brace bolted to steel. Lipped channel section purlins 860.00 kg
