- Tenders are invited for Joint Venture Management Partner for the Operation and Management of Sikerette Tented Lodge, Khaudum National Park, Namibia. The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT) awarded the Sikerette tourism concession to Gciriku community in 2008, comprising of Muduva Nyangana Conservancy, George Mukoya Conservancy and Gciriku Traditional Authority. The concession is for tourism development inside the Khaudum National Park. The Permanent Okavango River Basin Water Commission (OKACOM) with the financial and technical support of the Global Environmental Facility (GEF), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism are currently assisting the concessionaire to construct accommodation facilities. The following facilities are planned to be completed by 31 March 2021.
