• Quotation are invited for Installation, Commissioning & Maintenance of Solar Water Heating System & Softening Plant for Kitchen and Laundry at Okakarara Hospital in the Otjozondjupa Region. Closing Date: 09 September 2022 6.2.1 KITCHEN 6.2.1.1 Closed circuit solar water heaters, 300 ltr storage capacity, complete with stand, pipes, non-retum valves, pressure relief valve, insulation as per specification, mounted on roof. Item 2 - Grundfos UPS25-125, 1x230V, 50Hz, 237W, or similar approved by Engineer, delivering 1.4 m3/h at 9.2m. 6.2.1.3 Copper pipe, complete with insulation and fittings to connect to water reticulation inside ceiling space: - 0 35mm copper pipe Meter 2 - 0 28mm copper pipe Meter 5 - 0 22mm copper pipe Meter 5 6.2.1.4 Strainers, bronze body, Y-Type - for 220 Item 2 6.2.1.5 Non-return Valves, non-slam, spring loaded type, - for 220 Item 2 6.2.1.6 Shut-off Valves, bronze, globe type - for 220 Item 4 6.2.1.7 Pressure Reducing Valves for 350 Item 1 6.2.2 LAUNDRY 6.2.2.1 Solar Panels for Central Svstems 1800x1942 Item 10 6.2.2.2 Heat Exchanaer (2.500 Itr) Commercial, horizontal, 2500 Itr geysers, with backup element complete with pipe connections as prescribed, double insulation, pressure relief valve, ready for use. Item 1 6.2.2.3 Laundrv Water Storaae Tank (2.500 Itr) Commercial, vertical type, 2,500 Itr storage tank, the storage tank shall be covered with black inner lining to prevent light penetration. The storage tanks shall be rust and corrosion proof, and be resistant and odourless. The storage tank shall have a lid on top to prevent dirt and dumping. The storage tank shall be complete with pipe connections as prescribed by the manufacturer. Item 1 6.2.2.4 Laundrv Water Softener (2.500 ltr/dav) The softening plant shall be fully automatic, quantity controlled in interactive operation working with counterflow regeneration and economic saltening. Resin based water softener shall be used for the laundry water. Item 1 6.2.2.5 Booster Pumps - Suggested pumps: Grundfoss Hydro MPC-S 2 CR1 10-6, 3x400 V, 2 x 2.2 kW W, OR similar approved by Engineer, delivering at least 12 nrVh at 45m. Item 2 6.2.2.6 Circulation PumDS (Solar Water Reticulation) - Suggested pumps: Grundfos UPS25-125, 1x230V, 50Hz, 270W, or similar approved by Engineer, delivering 1.4 m3/h at 9.2m.
