• Expression of Interest are invited for Feasibility Study on Crop and Livestock Value Chains Development. MINISTRY OF AGRICULUTRE, WATER AND FORESTRY NAMIBIA FEED AFRICA AGRICULTURAL TRANSFORMATION PROGRAMME (FAATPRO) PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION UNIT REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI) FEASIBILITY STUDY ON CROP AND LIVESTOCK VALUE CHAINS DEVELOPMENT Agriculture Sector MIC TAF Grant No: 5500155013351 Project ID: P-NA-AA0-009 The Government of the Republic of Namibia (GRN) has received a Grant under the Middle Income Country (MIC) Technical Assistance Fund (TAF) towards the cost of the Preparation of Namibia’s Feed-Africa Agriculture Transformation Agenda (ATA) Projects, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this Grant for payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Study on Crop and Livestock Value Chain Analyses. The Feasibility Study will be carried out, by one Consulting Firm, in two (2) phases, namely: (i) Phase 1 Pre-feasibility/Preliminary Assessment, and (ii) Phase 2 Feasibility Study/Detailed Assessment. The Consulting Firm is expected to conduct the feasibility study within a maximum period of eight (8) calendar months, after signing the contract. The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF) now invites eligible Consulting Firms to express their interest in providing these services. Interested Consulting Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consulting Firms may constitute joint ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Eligibility criteria, short-listing and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Bank’s “Procurement Framework for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015”, which is available on the Bank’s website at http://www.afdb.org. Interested Consulting Firms may obtain further information on this consultancy at the address below during office hours, from 8:00 to 17:00 (local time). Expressions of Interest must be submitted electronically or hand delivered to the address below by 2nd March 2020 by 17:00 (local time) and clearly marked: “Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for the Feasibility Study on Crop and Livestock Value Chain Analyses”.
