Description:
The services included under this assignment are to review and update the ESMP to ensure that core environmental and social aspects of the Project are addressed in accordance with National Regulatory Framework and AfDB Environmental and Social Safeguard Policies; Review and update the Environment, Health and Safety Risk Register and implement the Health and Safety Plans to ensure compliance to Occupational Health and Safety standards; Update and implement the Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) to be used in stakeholders- engagement and dissemination of Project information; Conduct, together with the ESMP Task Team capacity building and awareness creation in all 14 regions; Update and implement the Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan to ensure mitigation and management of environmental and social emergency prevalence; Review, update and operationalise the Project Grievance Redress Mechanism to facilitate solution of concerns and grievances from affected communities and beneficiaries; Provide recommendations on how the Ministry can address Environment and Social issues and risks for its operations, in terms of staffing, procedures, systems; and Conduct compliance audit and submit ...
