Description:
Expression of Interest are invited for Consultant to Develop Fundamental Theme and Data Specifications for the NSDI Objectives • Fundamental Themes and Datasets will Support the Monitoring, Measurement and Management of Sustainable Development Goals (Sdgs) in a Consistent Manner and Ensure Effective Policy Formulation and Evidence Based Planning; • to Develop Fundamental Themes and Datasets Specifications that will Provide Common and Comprehensive Data Definition and Description to be Used when Exchanging Spatial Data. Scope of Work The Hired Consultants will be Required to Develop Data Specifications for the Tendered Fundamental Data Themes and Fundamental Datasets Available in the Spatial Data Infrastructure for Namibia. The Categories Tendered for should be in Line with Area of Expertise for the Consultants. It is Expected that the Work will be Carried out by More than One Consultant Depending on Their Expertise and under the Overall Guidance of Namibia Statistics Agency and in Consultation with the Official Data Custodians, the Committee for Spatial Data and the Nsdi Inter-Agency Steering Subcommittee. Timeline The Specification must be Completed within 3 Months from the Date of Appointment. The Period will not be Extended. However, Consideration in Very Rare Circumstances will be Made Based on the Volume of Data in each Category.
