General Procurement Notice for Bulk Water Supply Works. GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Republic of Namibia Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform Namibia Water Sector Support Program (NWSSP) 1. The Government of the Republic of Namibia has received a loan and grant from the African Development Bank Group to finance the Namibia Water Sector Support Program (NWSSP). 2. The principal objectives of the NWSSP are to support sustainable production and consumption of water resources, sanitation facilities and promotion of hygiene good practices resulting in: (i) improved access to safe drinking water for human consumption and industrial use, and (ii) improved food and nutrition security in the urban and rural areas in Namibia. 3. The program includes the following three (3) components, namely: Component 1 - Bulk Water Infrastructure Development. Component 2 - Rural Water Supply and Sanitation including strengthening the Water- Sanitation-Nutrition nexus. Component 3 - Institutional Strengthening, Capacity Building and Program Management. 4. Procurement of goods (including non-consultancy services), works and the acquisition of consulting services, financed by the Bank for the program, will be carried out in accordance with the Bank-s Procurement Framework for Bank Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015. 5.
