- Tenders are invited for Consultancy for Quality Assurance and Peer Review of the Nationally Determined Contributions (Ndc)+ Scope of work, activities and deliverables • Review the consolidated NDC document • Use the UNFCCC quality assurance guidelines as a pointer for quality and comprehensiveness of the NDC document • Conduct in-depth quality check/ analysis for the AFOLU, Energy, IPPU (including RAC) and Waste sectors mitigation and adaptation contributions • Conduct quality test of the sections in the consolidated NDC document • Submit feedback of the quality assurance test process • Conduct consultative meeting with MEFT as well as the national consultants that supported and coordinated the review of NDC chapters for the four key IPCC sectors Required qualifications and expertise • Knowledge of quality assurance testing • Experience in quality control analysis • Experience in comprehensive critical thinking • Experience in project management • Evidence of quality output and delivery of work and projects handled Duration of the Assignment The assignment will run from 19 November 2020 to 31 December 2020 Contractual arrangements and supervision The consultant will be contracted by the MEFT and will work closely with the UNDP , GIZ and MEFT to ensure successful implementation of the task. Remuneration The consultant-s payment shall be made as follows: 30% payment upon the submission of the inception report 50% payment upon the submission of the quality control results 20% payment upon the submission of the engagement with stakeholders
